शिवस्याथाग्रतो भूत्वा ऊचुः सर्वे त्वरान्विताः । किं कृतं हि त्वया शंभो विरक्तेन महात्मना । परदारापहर्त्तासि त्वमृषीणां न संशयः
śivasyāthāgrato bhūtvā ūcuḥ sarve tvarānvitāḥ | kiṃ kṛtaṃ hi tvayā śaṃbho viraktena mahātmanā | paradārāpaharttāsi tvamṛṣīṇāṃ na saṃśayaḥ
Vor Śiva tretend, sprachen sie alle hastig: «O Śambhu, großherzig und entsagt—was hast du getan? Du bist ein Räuber fremder Gattinnen, selbst der Frauen der ṛṣi; daran besteht kein Zweifel!»
