tava bhakto hyahaṃ tāta sa ca me priyakṛttaraḥ | tāvubhau svīkṛtau tena pārṣadatvena śaṃbhunā
Kirāta (contextual continuation; narrator of their acceptance)
Tirtha: Kedāra (Kedāranātha)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śaunaka and sages (traditional frame)
Scene: A devotee speaks to his ‘father’ figure, declaring devotion; Śambhu’s unseen assent confers pārṣada status—suggested by gaṇas welcoming them with emblems of Śiva.
Dedicated service and devotion culminate in intimate proximity to Śiva—symbolized by pārṣada status.
Kedāra’s narrative sphere, where devotion is shown to yield direct divine acceptance.
No formal ritual; the “prescription” is loving service (priya-kṛt) and steadfast bhakti.
