Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) narrating to the sages (contextual deduction)
Tirtha: Kedāra kṣetra (narrative frame)
Type: kshetra
Listener: (Contextual) audience/interlocutor
Scene: A formidable procession: Vīrabhadra strides into the sacrificial arena; gaṇas surge behind him; abandoned ritual implements and scattered devas mark the aftermath.
Ritual without reverence for Śiva (and without humility) cannot stand; dharma is upheld not by pomp but by inner alignment with the divine.
Kedārakhaṇḍa frames the sanctity of the Kedāra region; this verse specifically describes the yajña-vāṭa scene from the Dakṣa episode.
No prescription; it references the yajña-vāṭa (sacrificial arena) as a narrative setting.
