चिंतयंती शिवंतन्वी सर्वभावेन शोभना । चिंतमानां शिवां ज्ञात्वा ह्युवाच विजया सखी
ciṃtayaṃtī śivaṃtanvī sarvabhāvena śobhanā | ciṃtamānāṃ śivāṃ jñātvā hyuvāca vijayā sakhī
Die schöne, schlanke Gestalt dachte mit ihrem ganzen Wesen an Śiva. Als ihre Freundin Vijayā erkannte, dass Śivā (Pārvatī) in solche Gedanken versunken war, sprach sie zu ihr.
