niśamya vākyaṃ girijā satī tadā hyuvāca vākyaṃ ca vihasya taṃ prati | jānāsi sarvaṃ ca baṭo'dya paśya me dyūtaṃ maheśena karomi te'grataḥ
Type: kshetra
Listener: Nārada
Scene: Girijā laughs, addressing Nārada as ‘child’, and declares she will play dice with Maheśa before him; Śiva remains composed, the scene charged with playful intimacy.
The Purāṇa frames events as līlā: even a ‘game’ becomes a stage for teaching, witnessed by sages and sanctified by divine presence.
The Kedāra sacred region is the narrative backdrop; no single tīrtha is explicitly named in this verse.
None.
