विष्णुं प्रति तदा शीघ्रं दृष्ट्वा यामि वसात्र भोः । पुत्रशोकेन तप्तोऽसौ व्याजेनान्येन वाऽकरोत्
viṣṇuṃ prati tadā śīghraṃ dṛṣṭvā yāmi vasātra bhoḥ | putraśokena tapto'sau vyājenānyena vā'karot
Indra sprach: „Dann will ich rasch zu Viṣṇu gehen—bleib hier, Freund. Jener, vom Kummer um seinen Sohn versengt, hat dies getan, vielleicht unter einem Vorwand oder durch ein anderes Mittel.“
