Type: kshetra
Scene: Sages urge haste; Śiva listens, then smiles—calm, benevolent, slightly playful—about to speak; the moment is poised between counsel and divine reply.
Even the supreme ascetic participates in worldly dharma for cosmic harmony; divine play (līlā) includes gentle joy and consent.
The Kedārakhaṇḍa framework places the episode in the Kedāra-Himalayan sacred geography.
The instruction is to proceed toward the wedding (vivāha) of Śiva and Pārvatī; details are not given in this verse.
