तदा हृदिस्थो देवेशो बहिर्हृष्टिचरोभवत् । नेत्रे उन्मील्य सा साध्वी गिरिजायतलोचना । अपश्यद्देवदेवेशं सर्वलोकमहेश्वरम्

tadā hṛdistho deveśo bahirhṛṣṭicarobhavat | netre unmīlya sā sādhvī girijāyatalocanā | apaśyaddevadeveśaṃ sarvalokamaheśvaram

Da wurde der Herr der Götter, der im Herzen verweilte, nach außen hin offenbar. Als die heilige Frau—Girijā mit weit geöffneten Augen—die Augen aufschlug, erblickte sie den Gott der Götter, den Großen Herrn aller Welten.
