अमत्तभूतैर्बहुभिस्त्रपां त्यक्त्वा मनीषिभिः । अकाले कोकिला भिश्च व्याप्तामासीन्महीतलम्

Transliteration

amattabhūtairbahubhistrapāṃ tyaktvā manīṣibhiḥ | akāle kokilā bhiśca vyāptāmāsīnmahītalam

Translation

Die Erde wurde von vielen Wesen erfüllt, als wären sie berauscht, und sie warfen alle Scham von sich — selbst die Weisen; und auch die Kokila-Kuckucke, zur Unzeit, verbreiteten ihren Ruf überall.
