कर्पूरागुरुधूपैश्च ये यजंति सदा शिवम् । आरार्तिकां सकर्प्पूरां ये कुर्वंति दिनेदिने । ते प्राप्नुवंति सायुज्यं नात्र कार्या विचारणा
karpūrāgurudhūpaiśca ye yajaṃti sadā śivam | ārārtikāṃ sakarppūrāṃ ye kurvaṃti dinedine | te prāpnuvaṃti sāyujyaṃ nātra kāryā vicāraṇā
Wer Śiva stets mit duftenden Gaben von Kampfer und Aguru-Weihrauch verehrt und wer Tag für Tag das Ārati mit Kampfer vollzieht, erlangt Sāyujya (vollkommene Vereinigung mit dem Herrn); daran ist nicht zu zweifeln.
