Transliteration

tasmādvahniṃ pravekṣyāmi sārdhamābhyāmasaṃśayam | āpṛṣṭo'syadhunā snehānmama dehi jalāṃjalim

Translation

Deshalb werde ich zweifellos mit diesen beiden ins Feuer gehen. Da ich dich aus Zuneigung um Erlaubnis gebeten habe, gib mir eine Handvoll Wasser.
