Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 21

यत्कीर्तिमात्मनो व्यक्तिं नीत्वाभ्येहि पुनर्दिवम् । शुश्रुवानिति वाचं स ब्रह्मणः पृथिवीपतिः

yatkīrtimātmano vyaktiṃ nītvābhyehi punardivam | śuśruvāniti vācaṃ sa brahmaṇaḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ

„Nimm deinen eigenen Ruhm und deine offenbarte Identität mit dir und kehre wieder in den Himmel zurück.“ Als der König, der Herr der Erde, diese Worte Brahmās vernahm, hörte er in ehrfürchtigem Staunen zu.
