idaṃ pavitraṃ khalu puṇyadaṃ sadā yaśaskaraṃ pāpaharaṃ parātparam | śṛṇoti bhaktyā puruṣaḥ sa puṇyabhāgasukṣaye rudrasalokatāṃ vrajet
Diese Darlegung ist wahrhaft reinigend: stets verleiht sie Verdienst, schenkt Ruhm, tilgt Sünde und ist höchst erhaben, jenseits von allem. Wer sie in Hingabe hört, gelangt, wenn sein Vorrat an Verdienst erschöpft ist, in die Welt Rudras.
