सूत उवाच । इति देव्या वचः श्रुत्वा विस्मयोत्फुल्ललोचनाः । पुनःपुनः प्रणम्यैनां नापश्यन्दीपवद्गताम्

sūta uvāca | iti devyā vacaḥ śrutvā vismayotphullalocanāḥ | punaḥpunaḥ praṇamyaināṃ nāpaśyandīpavadgatām

Sūta sprach: Als sie die Worte der Göttin vernahmen, weiteten sich ihre Augen vor Staunen. Immer wieder verneigten sie sich vor ihr, doch sie sahen sie nicht mehr—sie war entschwunden wie die Flamme einer Lampe, die dem Blick erlischt.
