Ghaṭotkaca (first sentence), then Sūta (narration of the reporting)
Tirtha: Dvārakā
Type: kshetra
Scene: Ghaṭotkaca requests that his arrival be announced to the Yādava lord; the guards, having heard, turn to report to Kṛṣṇa.
Devotional etiquette—seeking permission and proper introduction—honors both the Lord and the community.

No formal ritual; the emphasis is on respectful procedure in approaching the divine king.
