Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 128

चिरं विनीय चात्मानं चिरं यात्यनवज्ञताम् । ब्रुवतश्च परस्यापि वाक्यं धर्मोपसंहितम्

ciraṃ vinīya cātmānaṃ ciraṃ yātyanavajñatām | bruvataśca parasyāpi vākyaṃ dharmopasaṃhitam

Durch lange Selbstzucht gelangt man zu einer dauerhaften Freiheit von Verachtung und Respektlosigkeit. Und man soll auch die Worte eines anderen beherzigen, wenn sie mit Dharma verbunden sind.
