ततः पित्रा चिरं स्मृत्वा चिरं चाघ्राय मूर्धनि । चिरं दोर्भ्यां परिष्वज्य चिरंजीवेत्यु दाहृतः
tataḥ pitrā ciraṃ smṛtvā ciraṃ cāghrāya mūrdhani | ciraṃ dorbhyāṃ pariṣvajya ciraṃjīvetyu dāhṛtaḥ
Dann gedachte der Vater seiner lange, roch lange an seinem Scheitel, umarmte ihn lange mit beiden Armen und sprach: „Mögest du lange leben!“
