एतदर्थं च हैडंबे पुत्रानिच्छंति साधवः । इहामुत्र तारयंते तादृशाश्चापि पुत्रकाः
etadarthaṃ ca haiḍaṃbe putrānicchaṃti sādhavaḥ | ihāmutra tārayaṃte tādṛśāścāpi putrakāḥ
Aus eben diesem Grund, o Haiḍamba, sehnen sich die Tugendhaften nach Söhnen: Solche Söhne werden zu Rettern und bringen Erlösung in dieser Welt wie auch im Jenseits.
