मामुवाच सदा पुत्र पितॄणां भक्तिकृद्भव । सोऽहं मातुर्वचः श्रुत्वा मेरुपादात्समागतः
māmuvāca sadā putra pitṝṇāṃ bhaktikṛdbhava | so'haṃ māturvacaḥ śrutvā merupādātsamāgataḥ
Sie sagte mir stets: „Mein Sohn, sei voller Bhakti zu den Pitṛs, den Ahnen.“ Darum bin ich, nachdem ich das Wort meiner Mutter vernommen habe, vom Fuße des Meru hierher gekommen.
