ओंगं गणपतये नमः ओंक्षां क्षेत्रपालाय नमः ओंगं गुरुभ्यो नमः इति आकाशे ओंकौं कुलदेव्यै नमः ॐ नंदिने नमः ओंमहाकालाय नमः ओंधात्रे विधात्रै नमः । ततः प्रविस्य लिंगाच्च किञ्चिद्दक्षिणतः शुचिः । उदङ्मुखः क्षणं ध्यायेत्समकायासनस्थितः
oṃgaṃ gaṇapataye namaḥ oṃkṣāṃ kṣetrapālāya namaḥ oṃgaṃ gurubhyo namaḥ iti ākāśe oṃkauṃ kuladevyai namaḥ oṃ naṃdine namaḥ oṃmahākālāya namaḥ oṃdhātre vidhātrai namaḥ | tataḥ pravisya liṃgācca kiñciddakṣiṇataḥ śuciḥ | udaṅmukhaḥ kṣaṇaṃ dhyāyetsamakāyāsanasthitaḥ
„Oṃgaṃ, Verehrung dem Gaṇapati. Oṃkṣāṃ, Verehrung dem Kṣetrapāla, dem Hüter des heiligen Bezirks. Oṃgaṃ, Verehrung den Gurus.“ Dann, unter dem offenen Himmel, spreche: „Oṃkauṃ, Verehrung der Familiengöttin“; und: „Oṃ, Verehrung Nandin; Oṃ, Verehrung Mahākāla; Oṃ, Verehrung Dhātṛ und Vidhātṛ.“ Danach betrete man das Heiligtum, bleibe rein, stelle sich ein wenig rechts vom Liṅga auf und, nach Norden gewandt, meditiere einen Augenblick, in fester Āsana sitzend, den Körper ruhig und unbewegt.
