Transliteration

uttarīyaṃ ca saṃdadhyādvinā tanniṣphalārcanam | bhasmatripuṇḍradhārī ca lalāṭe hṛti cāṃsayoḥ

Translation

Auch das Obergewand soll man anlegen; ohne dieses bleibt die Verehrung fruchtlos. Wer die Tripuṇḍra aus heiliger Asche trägt, setze die Zeichen auf Stirn, Brust und Schultern.
