Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 30

पश्चान्नास्तीति यो ब्रूयात्स च वै ब्रह्महा स्मृतः । यश्च विद्याभिमानेन निस्तेजयति सद्द्विजम्

paścānnāstīti yo brūyātsa ca vai brahmahā smṛtaḥ | yaśca vidyābhimānena nistejayati saddvijam

Und auch derjenige wird als Mörder eines Brahmanen angesehen, der später sagt: 'Es gibt nichts (zu geben).' Und wer aus Stolz auf seine Gelehrsamkeit einen tugendhaften Brahmanen seiner Würde und Ausstrahlung beraubt.
