Type: temple
Listener: Audience; statement voiced as a boon-formulation by Kālabhīti (context)
Scene: A pilgrim bows before the liṅga; above, a subtle count of mantra repetitions dissolves into light, showing that darśana/namaskāra equals ten-thousandfold pañcākṣarī japa.
Sacred sight (darśana) of a powerful liṅga can confer immense spiritual merit, comparable to intensive mantra practice.
The verse glorifies the specific liṅga being established in this narrative context, presenting it as exceptionally merit-giving.
Darśana and namaskāra to the liṅga; it is equated with the fruit of 10,000 repetitions of the pañcākṣarī mantra.
