निमित्तीकृत्य चात्मानं साध्वर्थे लिंगमर्चितम् । रोगाभिभूतो रोगैर्वा नाम्नामष्टोत्तरं शतम्

Transliteration

nimittīkṛtya cātmānaṃ sādhvarthe liṃgamarcitam | rogābhibhūto rogairvā nāmnāmaṣṭottaraṃ śatam

Translation

Indem man sich selbst zum Anlass nimmt und auf ein heiliges Ziel ausgerichtet ist, soll man den Liṅga verehren. Wer von Krankheit bedrängt ist—von Leiden jeder Art—(soll) die hundertacht Namen (rezitieren).
