स्वां भार्यामथ मां त्यक्त्वा बहुवासादवज्ञया । भार्याः कामयते नूनं सप्तर्षीणां महात्मनाम्
svāṃ bhāryāmatha māṃ tyaktvā bahuvāsādavajñayā | bhāryāḥ kāmayate nūnaṃ saptarṣīṇāṃ mahātmanām
„Aus Verachtung, die aus langer Vertrautheit erwuchs, hat er seine eigene Gattin—mich—vernachlässigt; nun begehrt er gewiss die Frauen der sieben großen Ṛṣis, der hochgesinnten Seelen.“
