श्रीशंकर उवाच । असंख्ये यास्त्वमी देवी असंख्येयाभिधास्तथा । जगदापूरितं सर्वमेतैर्भीमैर्महाबलैः
śrīśaṃkara uvāca | asaṃkhye yāstvamī devī asaṃkhyeyābhidhāstathā | jagadāpūritaṃ sarvametairbhīmairmahābalaiḥ
Śrī Śaṅkara sprach: „Unzählbar sind sie, o Göttin, und unzählbar auch ihre Benennungen. Die ganze Welt ist erfüllt von diesen furchterregenden, überaus mächtigen Wesen.“
