निराहारा ततस्तापं प्रापुस्तत्तपसो जनाः । ततो जगत्समालोक्य तदीयतपसोर्जितम्

nirāhārā tatastāpaṃ prāpustattapaso janāḥ | tato jagatsamālokya tadīyatapasorjitam

Dann wurde sie gänzlich ohne Nahrung; und durch die Glut jener Askese wurden die Menschen von ihrer brennenden Kraft bedrängt. Darauf, als er die Welt sah, die von der Macht ihres Tapas ergriffen war,—
