वंदमाना च मे पादौ मया नीतांक मात्मनः । मन्यता तां जगत्पूज्यामुक्तं बाले तवोचितम्

Transliteration

vaṃdamānā ca me pādau mayā nītāṃka mātmanaḥ | manyatā tāṃ jagatpūjyāmuktaṃ bāle tavocitam

Translation

Als sie sich vor meinen Füßen verneigte, zog ich sie auf meinen eigenen Schoß, da ich sie der Verehrung der Welt für würdig hielt, und sagte: „Kind, das ist passend für dich.“
