Transliteration

tasminparāṅmukhe daitye mahiṣe śuṃbhadānavaḥ | saṃdaṣṭauṣṭhapuṭāṭopo bhṛkuṭīkuṭilānanaḥ

Translation

Als jener Daitya—Mahiṣa—sich abwandte, biss der Dānava Śuṃbha vor Zorn auf die Lippen; sein Antlitz war vom verknoteten Stirnrunzeln verzerrt, und er schäumte vor Wut.
