स नो रक्षतु गोविंदो भयार्तास्ते जगुः सुराः । सुराणां चिंतितं ज्ञात्वा भगवान्गरुडध्वजः
sa no rakṣatu goviṃdo bhayārtāste jaguḥ surāḥ | surāṇāṃ ciṃtitaṃ jñātvā bhagavāngaruḍadhvajaḥ
„Möge Govinda uns beschützen!“—so riefen die Götter, von Furcht bedrängt. Da er erkannte, was in ihren Herzen war, antwortete der Erhabene, dessen Banner Garuḍa ist.
