Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 8

आहत्य भेरीं गम्भीरां दैत्यानाहूय सत्वरः । सज्जं चक्रे रथं दैत्यो दैत्यराजस्य धीमतः

āhatya bherīṃ gambhīrāṃ daityānāhūya satvaraḥ | sajjaṃ cakre rathaṃ daityo daityarājasya dhīmataḥ

Er schlug die tief tönende Kriegstrommel und rief eilends die Daityas zusammen; darauf machte jener Dānava den Wagen des weisen Daitya-Königs bereit.
