Transliteration

pūjā viracitā ramyā śaṃbhoriti mayā nṛpa | tatastāṃḍavamārabdhamanapekṣitasatkriyam

Translation

O König, einst richtete ich eine liebliche Verehrung für Śambhu aus. Darauf begann ich den Tāṇḍava-Tanz, ohne auf formelle Ehrenbezeugungen oder rituelle Gepflogenheiten zu warten.
