Type: ghat
Scene: Brahmā raises a hand in boon-giving gesture (varada-mudrā); luminous syllables seem to emanate from his mouths; Dhūtapāpā is bathed in a descending light, symbolizing her becoming the ‘atula-pavitra’.
Purity sought for dharma is rewarded: one can become a channel of sanctification for the world.
The verse elevates a Kāśīkhaṇḍa purifying presence (Dhūtapāpā, often tied to tīrtha identity) above other purifiers within the sacred region.
No direct prescription; the verse establishes a doctrinal hierarchy of purifying potency (pavitratva) foundational for tīrtha practice.
