Transliteration

jalābhilāṣiṇī bālā na manāgapi sā pibat | kuśāgratoyapṛṣataṃ paṃcāgniparitāpitā

Translation

Obwohl sie ein junges Mädchen war, das nach Wasser verlangte, trank sie nicht einmal ein wenig—nur einen Tropfen, der an der Spitze eines Kuśa-Halms hing—während sie von der Askese der fünf Feuer versengt wurde.
