Transliteration

dṛśoratithitāṃ nītvā viṣṇurvārāṇasīṃ tataḥ | puṃḍarīkākṣa ityākhyāṃ saphalīkṛtavānmudā

Translation

Dann führte Viṣṇu Vārāṇasī als „Gast“ in seine Augen, indem er sie schaute, und machte voller Freude den Namen „Puṇḍarīkākṣa“ wahrhaftig und erfüllt.
