Type: kshetra
Scene: A pilgrim continues through Kāśī: a moon-crested Śiva-liṅga shrine (Somanātha), a strong Vārāha image lifting the earth, a liṅga with Brahmā iconography nearby (Brahmeśvara), and a serene Agastīśvara shrine with sage motifs (water-pot, staff) carved on pillars.
The Kāśī yātrā is a disciplined sequence of reverence, integrating multiple divine forms into a single purifying path.
Somanātha, Vārāha, Brahmeśvara, and Agastīśvara—recognized stations in Kāśī’s pilgrimage geography.
Proceed in order and bow at each shrine: Somanātha → Vārāha → Brahmeśvara → Agastīśvara.
