Transliteration

sugaṃdhacaṃdanarasairliṃgamālipya bhaktitaḥ | ālipyate surastrībhiḥ sugaṃdhairyakṣakardamaiḥ

Translation

Wer den Liṅga in Hingabe mit duftender Sandelholzpaste salbt, vollzieht eben jene Handlung, um derentwillen selbst himmlische Frauen ihn mit Wohlgerüchen salben, wie mit den parfümierten Salben der Yakṣas.
