FAQs

Even amid celebration, Śruti (Vedic recitation) is presented as the highest sanctifying sound, ordering the festival around dharma.

The Kāśī Khaṇḍa frame suggests Kāśī’s sacred festival environment; this verse highlights the sanctified ambience rather than a named tirtha.

Implied practice is Veda-recitation by Brāhmaṇas as part of the mahotsava; no step-by-step rite is specified.
