इत्युक्त्वा देवदेवशस्तस्मिंल्लिंगे लयं ययौ । सविस्मयास्ततो विप्राः प्रातर्याता यथागतम्
ityuktvā devadevaśastasmiṃlliṃge layaṃ yayau | savismayāstato viprāḥ prātaryātā yathāgatam
So sprechend löste sich der Gott der Götter in eben jenem Liṅga auf. Darauf brachen die Brahmanen, voll Staunen, im Morgengrauen auf und kehrten zurück, wie sie gekommen waren.
