पतिव्रतधृता नार्यो बलेन बलिना धृताः । भर्तबुद्ध्यारमंतेतं कदाचित्ता इमा द्विज

pativratadhṛtā nāryo balena balinā dhṛtāḥ | bhartabuddhyāramaṃtetaṃ kadācittā imā dvija

Diese Frauen—standhaft im Pativratā, der ehelichen Treue—werden von einer mächtigen Kraft festgehalten; und, o Dvija, bisweilen erfreuen sie sich an ihm, indem sie ihn als ihren Gatten ansehen.
