अत्याहितं तदस्तीह तदागोद्वयदर्शनात् । पितुः कोपोपि सुश्लाघ्यो मयि नो ब्राह्मणस्य तु
atyāhitaṃ tadastīha tadāgodvayadarśanāt | pituḥ kopopi suślāghyo mayi no brāhmaṇasya tu
„In dieser Sache liegt große Gefahr — das weiß ich aus jenem Zeichen, dem Anblick des Kuhpaares. Selbst meines Vaters Zorn wäre erträglich; doch nicht der Zorn eines Brahmanen gegen mich.“
