श्रीदेवदेव उवाच । अयि प्रियतमे गौरि त्वद्वा गमृतसीकरैः । आप्यायितोस्मि नितरां काशीप्राप्त्यै यतेधुना
śrīdevadeva uvāca | ayi priyatame gauri tvadvā gamṛtasīkaraiḥ | āpyāyitosmi nitarāṃ kāśīprāptyai yatedhunā
Der Herr der Götter sprach: O liebste Gaurī, durch die Nektartropfen deiner Rede bin ich zutiefst erquickt. Darum will ich mich nun mühen, Kāśī für dich zu erlangen.
