न तथोज्झितदेहयातया मम दक्षोद्भवयामनोऽदुनोत् । अविमुक्तवियोगजन्मनापरि दूयेत यथा महोष्मणा

na tathojjhitadehayātayā mama dakṣodbhavayāmano'dunot | avimuktaviyogajanmanāpari dūyeta yathā mahoṣmaṇā

Nicht so sehr quälte meinen Geist das Leid, das entstand, als Dakṣas Tochter ihren Leib verließ, wie er jetzt versengt wird—aus der Trennung von Avimukta geboren—gleich einem Ding, das ringsum von grimmiger Hitze angebrannt ist.
