अगमिष्यदहोकथं सतापो ननु दक्षांगजयाय एधितः । ममजीवातुलता झटित्यलं ह्यभविष्यन्न हिमाद्रिजा यदि

agamiṣyadahokathaṃ satāpo nanu dakṣāṃgajayāya edhitaḥ | mamajīvātulatā jhaṭityalaṃ hyabhaviṣyanna himādrijā yadi

Weh mir! Wie könnte ich in solcher brennenden Qual weiterleben? Wahrlich, diese Pein ist durch Dakṣas Tochter nur noch gewachsen. Wäre die Tochter des Himālaya nicht hier, so endete mein Leben augenblicklich.
