Transliteration

caredātmasahāyaśca nirapekṣo nirāśrayaḥ | nityamadhyātmanirato nīcakeśa nakho vaśī

Translation

Er soll leben, den Selbstgeist als einzigen Gefährten, ohne Abhängigkeit und ohne Zuflucht bei anderen; stets der inneren Übung hingegeben, mit kurz gehaltenem Haar und Nägeln, selbstbeherrscht.
