Indem der Weise nur diese drei in Verehrung dient, bezwingt er die drei Welten. Mehrt er ihre Zufriedenheit, weilt er im Himmel wie ein Gott in seliger Freude.
Skanda
Tirtha: Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Listener: Pilgrim-seekers addressed through the frame audience
Scene: The devotee serves mother, father, and guru; above them appear three luminous realms (bhūḥ, bhuvaḥ, svaḥ) as layered mandalas, indicating ‘trailokya-jaya’; the elders bestow blessings like rays.
Wholehearted service to mother, father, and guru is depicted as yielding supreme victory and merit—equal to conquering the three worlds.
The teaching is embedded in Kāśīkhaṇḍa (Kāśī), where ethical dharma is celebrated as part of sacred living in Varanasi.
Samārādhana—devoted pleasing/service to the three elders—is the recommended practice.
