Transliteration

janmāṃtara sahasreṣu yatpāpaṃ samyagarjitam | gaṃgānāmasahasrasya japanāttatkṣayaṃ vrajet

Translation

Welche Sünde auch immer wahrhaftig über tausend Geburten angesammelt wurde—durch das Rezitieren der tausend Namen der Gaṅgā schwindet sie und geht zugrunde.
