Transliteration

tasmātsarvaprayatnena gopanīyaṃ nidhānavat | sukṛtaṃ kīrtanādvyarthaṃ bhavedbhasmahutaṃ tathā

Translation

Darum soll man mit aller Anstrengung sein Verdienst wie einen Schatz verbergen. Durch Prahlerei wird die gute Tat fruchtlos, wie eine Gabe, die in Asche dargebracht wird.
