समातृदैवतोभिज्ञः केवलं राजवर्त्मनि । न वेद काननाध्वानं क्षणं दध्यौ नृपात्मजः
Transliteration
samātṛdaivatobhijñaḥ kevalaṃ rājavartmani | na veda kānanādhvānaṃ kṣaṇaṃ dadhyau nṛpātmajaḥ
Translation
Nur mit den Gottheiten des Hauses und der Mutter vertraut und nur an königliche Straßen gewöhnt, kannte der Königssohn den Waldpfad nicht; einen Augenblick sann er nach.
