Transliteration

taṭetaṭepaṭuvaṭairuccaiḥpaṭakuṭī vṛtam | kuṭajastabakairbhāṃtamadhiṣṭhitabakairiva

Translation

An jedem Ufer war es von hohen, kräftigen Banyanbäumen umringt, als trüge die Uferlinie einen Ring aus Laubhütten; und es leuchtete in Büscheln von kuṭaja-Blüten, wie ein weißer Reiherrastplatz, von den sitzenden Vögeln erhellt.
